Dr. Roda graduated from Dalhousie University in 1977 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following two years of general practice in Halifax, he attended a post graduate program in Prosthodontics at Indiana University in the United States. After earning his Masters of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Prosthodontics, Dr. Roda returned to Halifax to assume part-time private specialty practice and part-time teaching as an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University, Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Roda has lectured both nationally and internationally. He is Past President of the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics and is an active member of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada and the Atlantic Prosthodontists Society. He practices at Park Lane Dental Specialists while maintaining limited teaching duties. He specializes in fixed and removable prosthodontics with special emphasis on crown and bridgework for natural teeth and dental implants.
