Dr. Haider Hussain

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Haider Hussain, BDS, MSc (Perio), FRCD(C) has joined our group of dental specialists. Dr. Hussain is from the United Kingdom. He received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree at the University of Manchester and completed his Periodontics degree at Dalhousie University. He is well versed in all aspects of dentistry and is happy to receive your referrals for periodontal treatment and implant surgery.

Haider Hussain was born in Baghdad, Iraq and he grew up in West Yorkshire, the United Kingdom where he later studied and received his B.D.S. degree from the University of Manchester in 2011.

Following graduation, he worked as a general practitioner in the Yorkshires for 10 years and during this time he completed a Post-graduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry and an MSc in Clinical Periodontology. He later enrolled in the Master’s Degree and Specialty Program in Periodontology at Dalhousie University and graduated in 2024.

Dr. Haider Hussain is a certified Periodontist, a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and has published in peer reviewed prestigious dental journals including the Journal of Clinical Periodontology Digest.
